DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a certified IT Professional with over 5 years of experience in cloud server administration (Linux and Windows) to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining infrastructure in AWS, deploying product updates, ensuring the smooth operation of our clusters, and setting up alerts and monitoring for all of our services. You will also play a crucial role in setting up CI/CD pipelines and maintaining software solutions using DevOps tools.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of our automation model. We are looking for someone who is familiar with Agile frameworks and has a strong desire for learning and cross-skilling to stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain infrastructure in AWS.
• Deploy product updates, identify production issues, and implement integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
• Monitor clusters in AWS and ensure smooth operation.
• Set up alerts and monitoring for all services in AWS.
• Set up CI/CD pipeline and related infrastructure.
• Create and maintain software solutions using DevOps tools.
• Participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of the automation model.
• Work in an Agile framework.
• Maintain a strong attitude for learning and cross-skilling.

Mandatory Skills:

• Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Amazon Linux) and Windows (Server 2K12, Server 2K16).
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
  Proficiency in setting up/configuring a LAMP server.
• AWS Services: EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, Route53, SES, AWS WAF, CDN, CloudWatch.
• Web Servers: Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, IIS.
• Mail Servers: Postfix, Sendmail, Qmail, Antispam/Antivirus (clamav/spamassassin).
• Monitoring: Nagios, NewRelic.
• Hosting Panels: Cpanel/WHM, Plesk, Webmin, Directadmin, WebsitePanel.
• Databases: MySQL, MS-SQL.
• Knowledge of S3 permission setup, data migration, and related tasks.
• Experience with GIT and code deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Apache logs, MySQL logs, htaccess, and related components.
• Experience with Liquid Web Server is an added advantage.
• Mandatory experience with cPanel.
• Knowledge and experience in configuring WordPress, Laravel, and Magento websites.
