Software Engineer (PHP,WordPress)

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress plugins/widgets, adhering to WordPress coding standards and utilizing HOOKS concepts.
• Proficiently use code versioning tools such as Git/SVN to manage project repositories.
• Optimize software and databases to ensure high performance and functionality.
• Hands-on experience with open-source CMS and Frameworks, specifically WordPress (with HOOKS concepts).

Required Technical Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proven expertise in working with WordPress at a PHP code level.
• Familiarity with existing inbuilt WordPress functions, hooks, filters, and other key features.
• Capability to customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Proficiency in managing MySQL databases, including database design and SQL query optimization.
• Ability to interact with RESTful APIs and work with data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Familiarity with version control using tools like Bitbucket.
